The African Art Hub (TAAH) is a pioneering gallery with a diverse team with rich experience and expertise,

team, spearheaded by Abraham Abia (Founder and Managing Director) significantly contributes to its

and global outreach. Abraham Abia, a leading energy lawyer and entrepreneur who oversees planning,
strategy and delivery, working very closely with Pratiti Shah, the gallery’s Manager. Pratiti brings her expertise
as a curator, art consultant and researcher to create memorable exhibitions that captivate and amaze TAAH’s
collectors and the general public.

RECENT ART FAIRS
▪ 1-54 London 2023: This exhibition presented individual perspectives on life, identity politics,
trade, and geopolitics through 12 paintings by three acclaimed artists: Theresa Ankomah (Ghana),
Ibrahim Bamidele (Nigeria) and Frederick Botchway (Ghana).


▪ 1-54 Marrakesh 2024: “All that is Hidden and Whole” presented the works of two remarkable artists, Adekunle Bemileke (Nigeria) and Sheila Fuseini (Ghana) who delve into themes of self-discovery, social narratives, and emotions through painting, exploring the boundaries of authenticity, consciousness, and self-awareness.


▪ 1-54 New York 2024: Strength in the Silent Storm” brought together Reggie Khumalo (South
Africa) and Ibrahim Bamidele’s (Nigeria) works, showcasing their shared commitment to societal
engagement and storytelling through powerful visual narratives that reclaim African identity, explore
themes of empowerment, and celebrate the continent’s landscapes and cultures.

UPCOMING ART FAIRS IN 2024
▪ British Art Fair (26-29 September 2024): The solo exhibition titled “Son of The Soil,” will
showcase the paintings of Abe Odedina (Nigeria), who explores universal human experiences,
blending the poetry of life with everyday miracles.


▪ 1-54 London 2024 (10-13 October 2024): Beneath The Stars, Where Dreams Take Flight is a
transcendent exhibition that weaves together the artistic visions of Reggie Khumalo (South Africa),
Houda Terjuman (Morocco), and Adekunle Bemileke (Nigeria), exploring themes of migration,
heritage, and human connection through a symphony of colors, textures, and symbolism. This
ethereal journey invites viewers to contemplate the complexities of identity, belonging, and shared
experience, reflecting on the interconnectedness of our collective consciousness.


▪ AKAA Paris (17-20 October 2024): A solo exhibition titled “Intimacy of Memory”, will
showcase paintings by Kingsley Ayogu that explore the complexities of grief and memory. Inspired
by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s memoir ‘Notes on Grief’, Ayogu will present a series of paintings,
each corresponding to a chapter from the book. This deeply personal project offers a glimpse into
the artist’s inner world, as he infuses his own grief into the works.
