On Saturday, May 24, Glenmorangie hosted an exclusive evening at Windsor Gallery, Victoria Island, Lagos, to unveil The Valley of Tranquility’, a captivating visual exhibition created in collaboration with acclaimed photographer Alex Ash. Curated as part of Glenmorangie’s ongoing celebration of bold creativity and exceptional craftsmanship, Inspired by Orange offered a visual interpretation of the iconic whisky’s warm, rich, and layered essence. Alex reimagined the Glenmorangie Original 10 years bottle in vivid scenes infused with the brand’s signature orange hue and playful sophistication, resulting in a portrait series that seamlessly blended art and spirit.

The exhibition drew an eclectic mix A-list influencers, whisky aficionados, art lovers, and cultural tastemakers including Dare Art-Alade, Emmy Kasbit, Efe Tommy, Uti Nwachukwu, Larry Hector, Akin Faminu, Amaka Oguike, Kiky Festus,, Berg Bobayan, Chef Wu and others adding star power and vibrancy to the elegant affair.

Guests were welcomed into the refined gallery space and treated to a guided tasting of Glenmorangie’s finest expressions. The session featured a mini masterclass led by Jennifer Okuguni, Brand Manager at Moët Hennessy who walked attendees through the whisky’s unique flavour profiles, aging process, core ingredients, and storied heritage deepening appreciation for the craft behind each bottle.

A key highlight of the evening was a personal tour of the exhibition led by Alex Ash, who offered insight into his creative process and the inspiration behind each frame. Speaking to the crowd, Ash shared:

“Glenmorangie is more than a drink—it’s depth, warmth, and a quiet sense of peace. I was given the freedom to explore the Valley of Tranquility and express that feeling creatively, and this series is my visual interpretation of that journey, captured in moments and mood.”
