First National Bank will host Ghana’s largest immersive art exhibition in partnership with EMY Africa and the Ghana Artist Alliance. This event, part of the EMY Africa EXPO 2024, promises a premier weekend affair spotlighting businesses, products, and services in the art and entertainment sectors.
The EMY Africa EXPO 2024, a meticulously designed three-day event, will showcase pan-African artistic talent and bring together international exhibitors. This expo will elevate African contemporary art to a global stage with an indoor-outdoor venue featuring marble halls and sculpture pavilions. Guests can enjoy a diverse program of exhibitions, art, music, shopping, and more. Organizers promise an all-encompassing weekend blending business showcases, consumer experiences, and entertainment options, including sports, food, beverages, travel, automobiles, arts and culture, and health as well as fashion.
Spanning 80,000 square meters, the event will feature fascinating vendors, special guests, engaging business forums, delectable food, refreshing drinks, captivating music, and also thrilling entertainment. Prospective vendors will have booths available to showcase and sell their products and services, providing ample opportunities for networking and business growth.
Delali Dzidzienyo, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at First National Bank, highlighted the bank’s dedication to showcasing Africa’s vibrant artistic talent. He noted that the EMY Africa EXPO would allow clients and guests to enjoy a curated celebration of the continent’s art.
Dzidzienyo also mentioned that the bank aims to challenge the traditional gallery model by creating interactive indoor and outdoor spaces, fostering a uniquely African context for art engagement.
Kojo Soboh, Executive Director of Carbon AV, the organizers of the event, emphasized their focus on creating an inviting environment where both seasoned collectors and art novices feel comfortable to engage, learn, connect, and ultimately acquire art.
The EMY Africa EXPO is scheduled to take place from June 14-16, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Center.
