Accra, Ghana – dot.ateliers, a visionary art space founded by acclaimed artist Amoako Boafo, is pleased to
announce an open call for artists to participate in the 2024 Artist Residency Program. This unique opportunity
invites artists, with a primary focus on painting and drawing, to immerse themselves in an inspiring and
supportive environment in the heart of Accra, Ghana.
The dot.ateliers residency program is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and exploration, providing
artists with the space and resources they need to deepen their artistic practices. The serene and captivating
location in Accra’s city center offers a transformative experience for emerging and established artists alike.
What the Residency Offers:
- Dedicated studio space
- Accommodation in Accra city center, just minutes from the residency space
- Opportunities forinterdisciplinary exchange with artists from diverse backgrounds
- Open studio opportunities
- A culminating showcase or exhibition to share the work created during the residency with the local community
Who Can Apply:
Artists working in any medium, with a primary focus on painting and drawing, are invited to apply forthis
residency. Both emerging artists and established practitioners are welcome. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to pushing their creative boundaries and engaging with the residency community.

- A recent headshot
- A statement of intent outlining why you are interested in the residency and your goals for yourtime here

Selected artists will receive a materials stipend and coverage of travel expenses, making it an exceptional opportunity to delve into unexplored dimensions of creativity and connect with like-minded artists.
