Art Partner, one of the world’s leading creative agencies, open call for art submissions for #CreateCOP29, a contest generating conversations and action for climate justice and calling attention to the annual United Nations Climate Change Conference 2024 (UNFCCC COP 29).
Art Partner invites artists of all nationalities, races, genders, and faiths, aged 14 to 30, to submit work that comments on the climate emergency.
Applicants can apply with any medium, including, but not limited to, photography projects, docu-style and experimental film, performance art, spoken word, musical compositions, fashion design, new media, and social media projects.
Participants might explore themes such as: biodiversity, climate justice, corporate greenwashing, material innovation, wildlife conservation, plastic waste and pollution, grassroots activism, intersectional environmentalism, regeneration, the physical and mental impacts of the climate crisis, and nature-based wisdom.
Applications will officially open on createcophub.com until the 31st October, 2024. Eight finalists will be awarded cash prizes of $10K, $5K or $2K. An additional 20 creatives will receive honourable mentions by a globally recognised panel of judges including:

All finalists and honourable mentions will have their work showcased on artpartner.com and featured on our Instagram account, @artpartner (393k followers). In addition winners and honourable mentions will be considered in the curation of the #CreateCOP, a physical travelling exhibition which has been hosted at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, Fotografiska Shanghai during Shanghai Climate Week, and Photo London 2024.Through the #CreateCOP initiative, we aim to amplify the call for environmental change by providing a supportive platform where emerging voices, especially from marginalised communities, can be heard and their impactful perspectives can resonate widely. This platform seeks to showcase the diverse perspectives on climate change and inspire meaningful conversations around urgent environmental issues.
