The show opens to the public on Thursday, June 15, and runs through Sunday, June 18. Click here to discover the fair’s many ticket options, including the Vernissage+ card, which allows you to attend the fair’s Vernissage on Wednesday, June 14.

Art Basel is divided into exhibition sectors, each with its own focus – from Unlimited, dedicated to monumental artworks, to the newly-introduced Kabinett, in which galleries present curated, themed exhibitions within their booths. Learn more about the sectors here, and access our interactive map here.

While the fair’s halls open to the public on Thursday, you can enjoy thrilling art starting Monday, June 12: The Parcours sector presents artworks in public spaces spread across Basel’s Old Town and opens to visitors that day. Curated by Samuel Leuenberger, it brings together sculptures, installations, videos, and performances by 24 artists – find out more here. Also kicking off on Monday is the Film program curated by Filipa Ramos – showcasing the best video works and films made by and about artists at Basel’s Stadtkino, and accessible for free to Art Basel ticket holders and students. Discover the program here.

From Tuesday June 13 onwards, the Messeplatz, the square located just in front of the halls, becomes Art Basel’s beating heart thanks to a sprawling superstructure composed of overlapping stages by Switzerland-based Moroccan artist Latifa Echakhch. Titled Der Allplatz, it will be the backdrop for a series of live concerts and performances, freely accessible to the public, organized in collaboration with Luc Meier, Director of La Becque Artist Residency, and curated by Leuenberger. Find out more about the project and the performance schedule here

You can take in more live acts during Unlimited Night (on Thursday) and Parcours Night (on Saturday) as well – special tickets for the former are available in our ticket shop. Captivating discussions will also take place from Wednesday through Saturday as part of Art Basel’s Conversations program, which is free and accessible to everyone – browse this year’s exciting line-up here
