Art Auction East Africa Returns to Circle Art Agency For its 11th Edition

Circle Art Agency proudly announces the return of Art Auction East Africa, 2023, 11th edition. The exhibition, unveiled at Circle Art Agency‘s new venue, showcases various modern and contemporary masterpieces from East Africa. Among the featured artists are Theresa Musoke (Uganda), George Lilanga (Tanzania), Georges Ebrin (Ivory Coast), and Sane Wadu (Kenya).

This spectacular event commences its bidding journey on November 14th, 2023. Before the grand event, art enthusiasts and collectors are invited to an exclusive private viewing at Circle Art Gallery, Nairobi, on October 25th, from 6-8 p.m. The gallery will proudly host these exquisite creations, allowing patrons to marvel at the artistic brilliance that defines East Africa.

Conceived in 2012 by the Circle Art Agency, the auction continues to push the boundaries of artistic expression globally. From the 1970s to the 2000s, the collection encapsulates the essence of the African Renaissance, capturing the spirit of artists who laid the foundation for modern and contemporary art. Their diverse styles and mediums weave a tapestry of heritage and innovation, shaping the narrative of art in the region.

The curated pieces represent the artists’ creativity and echo the region’s rich heritage. From October 25th until the auction day, the Circle Art Gallery will proudly host these cultural gems.
