Multi faceted artist Modupeola Fadugba creates paintings, drawings, and installations that are socially conscious.

She is a self-taught artist with a background in engineering, economics, education, and education, and revels at the various field she is in being poured into her creative practice.

Her artwork speaks on game theory, social justice, cultural identity, and the art world with Nigeria’s sociopolitical context and the larger global economy. Her work reflects chapters by her nomadic life experiences. This month, Host Jonas Schwarz Lausten sits with Modupeola to gather more insight about her creativity, inspiration and projects coming up this year.
