Efie Gallery enthusiastically announces collaborating with Dubai Culture to host a panel discussion for the inaugural Dubai Calligraphy Biennal. The panel discussion comes five days after the unveiling of Victor Ekpuk‘s Passage to Promise sculpture, created for the Dubai Calligraphy Biennial.

In line with the theme, the speakers include Victor Ekpuk, Professor Rachel Ama Asaa Engman, Professor Awam, Alia Al Shamsi, and Dr Antoine Abi Aad. The discussion, expertly moderated by Rebecca Anne Proctor, promises an enlightening exploration of calligraphy’s diverse cultural roles.
