Victor Ekpuk unveiled his mesmerizing solo exhibition, “INTERwoven TEXTures,” at Efiɛ Gallery in Dubai. The gallery’s walls came alive with Ekpuk’s reimagined ancient Nigerian communication system, Nsibidi. The gallery, adorned with various symbols, calligraphy, and enigmatic scripts, pulsated with vibrant colors, narrating tales of African identity. Moreover, his artworks tell a story of historical legacies and spirituality. The exhibition is on till the 21st of November, 2023, allowing audiences from different worlds to understand the beauty of this ancient communication system.

Victor Ekpuk, a Nigerian-born artist based in Washington, DC, meticulously transformed the sacred Nsibidi into an abstract language, bridging the past and the contemporary.
